Ahead of the EuroLeague playoffs opener between Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul and Paris BasketballSarunas Jasikevicius was officially presented with his Coach of the Year award.

Luckily, the historic moment for the Lithuanian coach wasn't spoiled, thanks to Wade Baldwin IV's dagger that clinched Fenerbahce's win in Game 1.

Saras became the first Lithuanian to claim this award and the first person to win the EuroLeague as a player and later be named the competition's best coach.

That being said, no one on the team knows Jasikevicius more than the players, who share the everyday grind of a long season with him.
