The Portland Trail Blazers are trading Gary Payton II to the Golden State Warriors for five second-round picks, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The Warriors are routing Kevin Knox to the Blazers via a multi-team deal with the Detroit Pistons, via the report.
The 1.91-meter (6-foot-3) Payton has averaged 4.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists over 15 games this season.
Payton joined the Blazers past offseason in free agency after playing a vital part in the Warriors' 2022 championship run.
