Just after losing Darius Garland due to a jaw fracture, the Cleveland Cavaliers have received more negative news in their camp.
Their center, Evan Mobley, is set to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, sidelining him for an estimated six to eight weeks, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Like Garland, Mobley is one of the key players on the team, averaging 16.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists over 21 games in his third season.
The Cavs, currently at 13 wins and 12 losses, sit in the 9th position in the Eastern Conference standings.
