Phoenix Municipal Court has set a Feb. 23 court date for the Pistons' Isaiah Stewart on a misdemeanor assault charge. Stewart was arrested and issued a citation before being released last week after an altercation with Drew Eubanks.

Stewart is being pressed with a misdemeanor assault charge after an altercation with the Phoenix Suns forward Drew Eubanks last week.
Shams Charania from The Athletic reported that Stewart punched Eubanks in the back tunnel of the Suns arena before the game.

New York KnicksThe two players were going chest-to-chest with one another and had to be separated by security following the punch. Local police were also involved to help separate the two men.
"The attack on Drew Eubanks was unprovoked, and acts of violence such as this are unacceptable," Suns spokesperson said.
