Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon opened up about his near-involvement with Team USA, revealing that Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr had approached him after a game in the Bay Area.
According to Gordon, Kerr asked if he wanted to play for the national team, but a follow-up call never came.
The 28-year-old admitted there was "a little salt" about being left out but shared his appreciation for the team's eventual success, saying: "Hey, we got gold."

"It was dope seeing Jok [Nikola Jokic] take them to the wire like that. It was like this dude on my team nearly washed up this cats" underscoring how impressed he was with Jokic's display.
