Chicago Bulls star Zach Lavine is putting all the negativity behind him, saying he is entering the 2024-25 season in a “great headspace.”
Zach LaVine is all set and ready to go for the upcoming NBA season.
After missing a chunk of last season due to injury and hearing his name in trade rumors, the Chicago Bulls star emphasized that he is feeling great and wants to put the past behind him.
"I'm in a great situation, a great headspace, I don't take that for granted," LaVine said NBA Media Day. "Anything negative, rumors, drama – I leave that in the past. I focus now on this team, learning, and having a good time."

The Bulls star shared that he had conversations with the front office that further deepened his bond and commitment to the franchise.
"I had conversations with (the front office) and the commitment and respect they gave me – I'm going to give them the same respect – not just the way I play but the way I conduct myself," LaVine added. "I'm excited for this camp."
With DeMar DeRozan gone, Chicago will have to rely more on LaVine this year, along with veteran center Nikola Vucevic and newly acquired guard Josh Giddey.
LaVine averaged 19.5 points (45% shooting), 5.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game last season.
